Best North Austin Restaurants – 2017 City Guide

February 15, 2017

This guide to best North Austin restaurants is part of the Austin Food Blogger Alliance’s 2016 City Guide. #atxbesteats

People tend to visit restaurants and shops in a set radius from where they live. While I love visiting great restaurants in Central and Downtown Austin, I’ve gotten to know North Austin restaurants well. There’s no need to go farther than you need to for good food! Here are my favorite and fan favorite locally-owned restaurants in North Austin.

This North Austin Restaurant City Guide is an update from my guide last year and part of the Austin Food Blogger Alliance 2017 City Guide.

Where is North Austin? My southern boundary is Anderson Lane and my other general boundaries are Wells Branch Parkway (north) and Mo-Pac (west) and I-35 (east).

  • A great list!! I’ve really only tried the restaurants on that list that also have a location down south, like Hopdoddy, Ramen Tatsu-ya, and NXNW. So apparently I have a lot of eating to do!!!

    • Thanks, Kelsey! Yes, thankfully there are some with other locations too. I don’t even want to start with how many in other parts of Austin I haven’t visited! (too many to count but good problem to have!) 🙂
